       Chongqing College of Mobile Communication (formerly known as College of Mobile Telecommunications, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and hereafter referred to as the college), founded in 2000, is a full-time regular undergraduate college ratified by the Ministry of Education, supervised by Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, and entitled to enrol students nationwide.

       The college runs two campuses, located respectively in Hechuan district, an important strategic fulcrum city in the new urban area of Chongqing, and Qijiang district, Chongqing’s West Information Security Valley in the new urban area of Chongqing. Hechuan campus, located in the university town of Hechuan District andembraced by mountains and rivers, is blessed with beautiful environment and convenient transportation,40 minutes' drive from the downtown of Chongqing and 5 minutes' drive from Hechuan Central Business Street and Jinyue Business. Qijiang campus, located in the Eastern New City of Qijiang district and surrounded by towering Ancient Sword Mountain and beautiful Qihe River, is one of the most distinctive Landscape and Garden Style University in China, 40 minutes’ drive from the downtown of Chongqing, 15 minutes’ drive from Qijiang East Railway Station, and only 5 minutes’ drive from Qijiang Passenger Transport Center.

       Subordinate to the college are 12 secondary colleges including Communication and Information Engineering College, Intelligent Engineering College, College of Big Data and Computer Science, Quench Business College, College of Digital Economy and Information Management, College of Art and Media, Foreign Languages College, German Institute of Engineering, Information Security College, College of Drama, Film and Television, College of Health Management, and Prospect College. Offered by the college are 40 undergraduate majors including Communication Engineering, Rail Transit and Signal Control, Financial Management, Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and Automation (sino foreign cooperation), Electrical Engineering and Automation (sino foreign cooperation), Internet Finance, Software Engineering and 4 junior college majors such as Communication Technology, Industrial and Commercial Enterprise Management, combining to form a disciplinary system where engineering is valued as its priority while economics, management, literature and arts feature interdisciplinary integration and coordinated development.
